Dynamic Branded Onboarding

Overview
As part of FedEx’s ShopRunner Design team, I had the opportunity of working with the Brand team to design a series of micro-interactions that inspire user-brand connection when users first engage with the mobile app. These branded micro-interactions encapsulated various holiday and seasonal themes. I was responsible for exploring concepts for winter, valentine’s day, & spring.

Designing the feature end-to-end, working closely with engineering to inspire user-brand connection when users first engage with the mobile app.

Solo designer, Brand Designer, Visual Designer, 1 Product Manager, 8+ engineers.
The main opportunity with implementing unique micro-interactions tailored to ShopRunner’s brand identity was to delight our users when they first engage with the app and leave a lasting impression on them, ultimately making a move from our more tradition flat approach to a more dynamic brand experience.

Process
I started my design process by diving deep into our brand’s identity, color guidelines, and iconography. I experimented with different colors and icons.
